Flame-retardant chemical found in homes can build up in people
報導裡說家裡面灰塵裡的化學物質有致癌和導致孕婦裡胎兒的頭腦發育不良.
這化學物質是從家裡面房屋的耐熱墊 polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), 一般塞在牆璧夾層, 沙發裡的墊子, 電子用品裡的隔熱物資等等裡釋放出來.

* 吸塵器裡使用 HEPA 的濾紙, 並在清理房子時戴上口罩.
* 如果車子坐墊或家裡面的家具內部的襯墊外漏, 應立即換新.
* 小心的更換地毯下的襯墊
* 問製造廠, 他們的產品是否含有 PBDEs (IKEA 已經不使用, 一些電子產品製造商也減少使用).
