昨天下午尖峰時段往 Northbound I-5, 正好從 King County 進 Snohomish County 在 Mountlake Terrace 的那段. 不少人應該都碰到了那個交通大阻塞. 整個四線的高速公路縮減成兩線. 尤其是在 Carpool Lane 的那輛卡車的右前方和右側的玻璃都碎了. 還有地上的那塊白布… 我當時看了看, 想找找摩托車在哪裡? 沒有摩托車! 那另一輛互撞的車? 也沒有另一輛車!!! 今天早上看了報紙才知道是想跨越高速公路的行人…Man is struck and killed as he runs across I-5. 連早上都這麼慘了…
已經連續兩天花了單程兩個小時半才到上班的地方. 這應該是下午偶爾會發生的情形. 現在連早上也這麼慘了!!! 聯邦法院前的施工已經造成公車嚴重的誤點. 現在連 South Lake Union Light Rail 也施工到市中心 Westin Hotel . 還是用走的上班算了…也許還比較快…

昨天又是個公車大誤點
昨天六點正準備搭公車回家. 發現要搭的公車正巧從眼前經過. 不過想要去追它的想法很快的消失…因為上面已經坐滿了人. 還沒有到時間卻看到了公車, 這應該是誤點 20 分鐘的前一班公車. 又等了約 20 分鐘終於看到了公車. 不過公車卻沒有走 Local 路線而是行駛 Express 路線. 莫非公車司機忘記了? 下車前問了公車司機, 司機說他是 Express 的路線, 只是誤點了約 40 分鐘. 所以我搭上了 Express 公車. 最後是在市中心等了 20 分鐘才搭上公車, 可是卻”準時”的下車… Side Note: New Narrows Bridge toll set at $3: 新的 Tacoma Narrows Bridge 在 7 月 15 日啟用. 從 16 日起將正式的單向(東行)收費 $3. 每次公司一忙碌起來就想吃巧克力. 雖然說巧克力有提神, 鎮定和改善情緒的作用. 可是這樣吃一定會更胖… 完蛋了.
