今天晚上有上課. 到了上課的地方, 竟然發現學校因 “Partial Power Outage” 而關閉. 這堂課真的不是幸運的課. 有一堂課因上個月的雪而沒有上課. 上星期四突然的暴雨, 只有一半的人到教室. 今天又因 “Partial Power Outage” 停課. 真不知該如何的補課? 有電就有電, 沒有電就沒有電. 什麼叫 “Partial Power Outage”?
放假
放假真的不是運動的好日子. 不像平常上班的日子, 什麼時候做什麼一切都是固定的. 放假的時候, 連出個門都很困難…

另一個糟糕的交通, 不過…
昨天下午的 Commute 是另一個糟糕的交通. 從下午 5:15pm 到公車站牌, 一直到 6:10pm 左右才搭上公車. 倒不是等的時間很久, 這還不算是記錄. 原因只是超慢的交通. 昨天下午西雅圖市中心十分鐘的流量, 大概就只有半個 city block. 從 5:15pm 等到 5:30pm 看看這個停滯的交通. 想想還是去散步的好. 於是往回走了八個街口, 看看我的公車什麼時候才會到. 嗯, 在約六個街口外的地方看到了我可以搭乘的公車. 另外在第八個街口也有兩班公車可以選擇. 不過以目前的車流量, 還有一段時間才可以到公車站牌. 於是利用最後的十五分鐘, 到 Seattle Central Library 找找書, 上個廁所. 在圖書館六點關門時離開. 到了公車站牌, 還另外等了十分鐘才搭上了公車. 感覺上並沒有太差. ============================= 如果是在西雅圖 City Limit 內上班的人, 就算居住的地方不是在 City of Seattle, 也可以申請 City of Seattle 的借書證. 我覺得這很方便. 對我來說, 在等公車前, 可以去圖書館找找書. 讓枯燥的等公車變得有趣些. ============================= 以前總是喜歡到公車在市中心第一個站牌上車, 因為空曠的車廂可以自由的選擇座位. 現在發現, 最好的站牌是距離廁所最近的地方. 如果公車誤點嚴重, 只需要往公車來的方向一瞧, 確認三四個街口都沒有我要搭乘的公車. 進圖書館上廁所, 再回到站牌. 一點都沒有問題. 像我這種長途 Commute 的乘客, 搭公車前一定要先上廁所. 永遠不知道會在公車上待多久才可以回到家. 辛苦的公車司機…
淹水了…
昨天下午上班的公司門口的排水道排水不及, 結果水滿得到處都是. 還淹進了公司的前門. 第一次淹水進來… 現在前門口還堆有沙袋呢! ^_^ 住家附近一點事也沒有. 昨晚電燈是有閃了好幾十次, 不過還是沒有停電.
