說它是冰河大概會有不相信的人. 哪有冰河是黑色的? 或是上面還可以長草? 趁著小朋友就快要開學, 決定去試試超過 3 英哩的. 國家公園網站上寫著, 來回 3.5 英哩約三個小時. 小朋友在邊走邊玩下, 花了五個小時來回. 不過小朋友只走到 3.1 英哩處的吊橋, 自己另外再走到 Trail 終點. 這個 Trail 非常受歡迎, 除了像我們這些 Day Hikers, 還有很多背著露營裝設的人潮. 我想冰河一般是從高處往下看比較漂亮吧! 這樣近距離只能感受到它的”巨大”. 冰河終點被塵土覆蓋的冰而變得黑黑的, 看不出來的人還以為是山壁的一部份. 出去照了一堆回來, 結果老是常常忘記照片裡到底是在哪裡照的. 尤其是那種照一堆風景, 看起來每張都長得差不多. 市面上現在似乎還沒有結合 GPS 功能的相機? 每張照片除了傳統的日期外, 還會順便記錄照片的經緯度. 那一定省了我很多的麻煩. Side Note: Examining why minority kids drown at higher rate
機場一景
剛剛去機場接父母親, 由於父母親四週沒有停車的地方, 因此把車停得遠了些, 正巧停在一組三個女孩子之前. 我一開門下車打開行李箱, 這些女孩子便一擁而上, 準備要把行李放進車內. 老婆大人趕緊搖頭, 示意我們並不是來接他們的. …抓去賣掉似乎並不難…

St. Helens hiking 是辛苦了些, 因為沒有可以遮陽的樹. 和一般的 National Forest hiking 的經驗完全不一樣. 至少 Mt. St. Helens 周邊設施(廁所等)比 National Forest 好得多. 只是在這光禿禿的地方 hiking, 想要尿尿還要小心是否有人, 遠遠的就可以一覽無疑… Side Note: Higher pay, more work Medical Side Note: Watching your weight?
