昨天 King County Metro 展示明年起開始的 RapidRide 快速公車的圖裝…看起來真的很像是熱狗. Seattle PI 上的照片 加州洛杉磯的 Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) 的這個路線幾乎成為全美快速公車的典範. 從影片上, 可以清楚的看到加州的 BRT 是建在公車專屬的車道上, 因此可以把公車當捷運使用. 但是 King County Metro 的 RapidBus 和今年 11 月 30 日起就會開始行駛的 Community Transit 的 SWIFT 都是建在普通道路上, 和一般交通擠在一起. 實在很懷疑這種快速公車是否可以發揮她應有的功能?
