夏季已經近了
第六十六號碼頭停靠了今年第一艘來回阿拉斯加的郵輪, Ryndam, 夏天的腳步越來越近了. 最後決定的作品是最左側的 Mt. Rainier 和鮭魚. 這 25 美分硬幣將在明年發行. 星期一的集會遊行
四月十日的遊行將在下星期一(五月一日)重復一次. 路線和時間都是一樣的. 今天的移民遊行集會
今天的移民遊行集會是下午 3:30pm 在 St. Mary’s Church 集合. 沿著 S. Jackson Street 轉 S. King Street, 再到 4th Avenue. 並左轉於 Madison Street 到位於第二街的 Jackson Federal Building. Seattle Times 遊行路線圖. 遊行時間約從 3:30pm 至 6:00pm. 這也表示今天下午的通勤將是非常的擁擠. 尤其是 Bus Tunnel 關閉, 所有公車都是擠在地面上.
Shop, Dine & Ride Guide
去年十月份的時候寫過一次, 只是資訊跑得快, 很迅速的就不見了. 西雅圖旅遊旺季又到了, 想想應該再次寫出來一次. 可以在公車上(如果沒有被拿完), 公車旅客服務中心(Westlake 公車旅客服務中心, 因公車隧道的關閉, 目前暫時搬到 Rainier Square; 1333 5th Ave, Seattle, WA) 索取折扣小冊子或 Shop, Dine & Ride Guide 的網站上列印. 這次的 Shop, Dine & Ride Guide 上多了很多有用的折扣卷. 比如中國城/國際區的餐廳和珍珠奶茶店的折扣卷. Waterfront 的 Argosy Cruises, Ivar’s 和西雅圖水族館. 靠近商業區的 Barnes & Noble, Niketown, Nordstrom, Pacific Place 甚至於市中心的 Todai 日式自助餐店都有折扣卷. 搭乘公車到市中心, 如果是使用付現錢的方式, 別忘了向公車司機要轉乘票. 任何一種年票, 月票, 或轉乘票可以在市中心省錢消費.
