一兩年前測試了幾個月的 Double-Tall (Double-Decker), 現在又回來… 這次還是使用英國公司 Alexander Dennis 的 Enviro 500. Commute like the British do: on a double-decker bus [img=images/Enviro500Bus.gif popup=false] 照片出處: Community Transit 這 Double-Dekcer 不止載客量大, 還有好處的: * 消耗的油和 Double-Length 的公車差不多. * 下雪天的控制較靈活. 不像 Double-Length 的公車, 一下雪就完蛋了. * 視野好又刺激. 尤其是坐在上層的最前面一排, 除了可以俯瞰整個區域, 當公車經過高架橋時, 距離近得好像就會撞上. 實際上, 我並不喜歡這種 Double-Decker 的公車. * 下車的時間過長. 第一次測試時, 曾搭上這 Double-Decker 後的下一班公車(慢了約三分鐘). 結果到達 Lynnwood Park & Ride 時, 我都已經下車了, 那 Double-Decker 上的乘客還在那裡等下車. * 無法看到公車上層的狀況. 由於這公車沒有辦法看到上層公車內的旅客數目, 所以無法立即判斷上層是否已經坐滿了人. * 就像 Sounder 的雙層火車, 我都是坐在下層, 不喜歡那種高高在上的感覺. 這次除了一般的 #402, 還多加了下午的 #425 (Lake Stevens) 路線. 這是 Double-Tall 公車的時刻表. 這時刻表每兩個星期就會換一次, 讓其他的通勤路線的乘客也可以試試看.
