台北和西雅圖間的班機(沒有再延伸至紐約紐渥克 Newark).

華航於四月二十五日起也將增加台北和西雅圖間的班機. 增加後, 每週的五班台北和西雅圖間的班機, 有其中三班繼續延伸至德州的休士頓 Houston. 另外兩班則只到西雅圖, 之後便折返台北.

“此外，為了因應西雅圖客運市場需求暢旺，華航自4月26日起增飛CI022/021台北-西雅圖往返航線每週兩班，使用A340-300型客機，去程 CI022班次每週一、三23:00自中正機場起飛，當天19:10抵達西雅圖。回程CI021班次每週二、四01:20自西雅圖起飛，次日05:30飛抵中正機場。屆時華航往返西雅圖客運航班，增為每週5班，其中3班延伸至休士頓。”

自九月份起, Monorail 的汽車牌照稅將被取消. 九月份後住在 City of Seattle 居民的汽車牌照稅將會下降.

長榮 BR32/31 台北經西雅圖到紐約紐渥克 (Newark) 間的航線在三月份起航線班表調整.
三月二十六日起調整為每週六班(12345.7).
六月十日起再調為每週五班(.2345.7).
時間上還是和以前一樣. 約傍晚六點從台北出發, 和凌晨約三四點從西雅圖回台北.

不過長榮將於六月十日起新增 BR26/25, 這飛機將是專門服務西雅圖, 而沒有再延伸至紐約紐渥克
BR26/25 六月十日起每週2班(1….6.), 時間上也有所變動, 台北出發的時間是晚上 23:40, 到西雅圖約下午 05:20. 回程則是凌晨 02:10, 到台北是 05:30.

昨天傍晚坐公車回家時, 有一位似乎是有點喝醉酒的女士在和朋友聊天時, 就那麼的聊著聊著, 她突然隨手把公車窗戶上的緊急開啟的把手給用力的拉了下去. 我一直以為公車窗戶就會這麼的掉了出去, 事實上只是像一般窗戶一樣從下面打開, 上面還是掛在公車的. 不過倒是嚇了我一跳, 以為窗戶就要掉出去了. 她和她的朋友也是滿緊張, 因為窗戶就這樣的掛在上面而無法再關緊回去. 她們倆弄了一陣子才勉強讓窗戶扣了起來…至少就不用吹冷風了.

就像所知的 Boeing 787 是第一種大量使用複合材料的客機, 只是這些”新科技”事實上已經存在了二十幾年. 不少研發 Boeing 787 的專家, 原是先前研發 B-2 轟炸機的人員.

不過在美國法律禁止出口高科技至一些管制的國家, 這些”新科技”必須重新的”實驗”, 把它們變成商用資訊.

也許不少國家買 Boeing 787 的原因是想要學技術, 而不是真的想要買飛機?
