中國城的超市

記得 96 年剛來這裡時，想要買新鮮蔬果時，中國城的超市是唯一的選擇。來中國城的超市購物並不是很好的經驗，除了停車不便，摩肩擦踵的人群，說著聽不懂的語言，總覺得好像回到了老婆的家鄉。

99 年大華超市在 Renton 開了第一間店，由於距離遠需要買台式的東西，就會特地去大華超市購買，不然中國城的超市的超市還是唯一的選擇。

04 年大華超市在 Edmonds 又開了間分店，差不多同一時間，韓國商店 Pal-Do world 也在 Lynnwood 開張(於 2011 年關店)，由於距離近，慢慢的我們都是在這裡購買新鮮蔬果。

過去十年來，H-mart，和一些越式超市陸續的在居住地區附近開張，中國城超市，比如宇和島屋，越華等，往郊區開分店，再加上 Central Link 輕鐵的行駛，Martin Luther King Way 的東南亞超市群也重新以新的裝潢招攬顧客，我們去中國城超市的機會越來越少。

已經不記得上次去中國城的超市是什麼時候，至少有兩年的時間吧？昨天再去了中國城的超市，發現停車非常的方便，顧客明顯的減少。看看價錢，並不值得特地來這裡購買生鮮蔬果。

看著 Jackson Street 上已經架設好的 Capitol Hill Streetcar，中國城正面對著改變，不知道她是否會回到以前的輝煌歲月？
