中国山西中宇篮球於 2008 年加入 IBL (International Basketball League). 目前山西中宇篮球队在美国的比赛成绩是六战全败. 将於下列时间在华盛顿州和其他 IBL 的球队进行比赛. 小朋友 Field Trip
今天搭公車又遇見一群 Field Trip 的學生, 這次是 Hzelwood Elementary 六年級的小朋友. 和上次比起來, 這次是好得多. 雖然還是很吵, 可是至少小朋友們會乖乖的坐在座位上. 和老師的聊天才發現, 原來中小學在每個學區還是有差別. 在 Hzelwood Elementary 的學區, 小學是指到六年級, 中學則是 7 和 8 年級. 在我住的學區, 小學是到五年級, 中學則是 6, 7 和 8 年級. 高中還是一樣, 都是 4 年, 從 9 年級開始. 所以家裡小朋友有可能是在讀中學, 搬家到新學校後, 被降級成小學… 
另外, 在這班級裡, 有一位去年七月才移民過來的小朋友, 半個英文也不會. 還不到一年, 他已經可以讀六年級程度的書了. 只是他一個人在那裡靜靜的讀書, 和整個聒噪的其他小朋友比較下, 似乎有些隔隔不入!!! Side Note: Accident slows traffic on I-5 through Lynnwood: 在我今天搭的後一班公車發生車禍!!!
Paine Field 的三個景點
Flying Heritage Collection 將於 2008 年 6 月 6 日在 Paine Field 新地點重新開放. 和以前的舊地點比較起來, 新地點更大也更方便. Mukilteo Station
等了四年半多, Sounder 終於在 5/31 日起開始要停靠在 Mukilteo 了. 不過這只是多了一個搭乘的選擇. 對我而言, 搭公車還是比火車快多了. 畢竟沒有理由花三個小時上班和下班時, 來回上班地點到 King Street Station, 然後又回到(經過)上班的地方. 除非 Sound Transit 在 North Downtown Seattle 蓋個車站, 不然火車對位於要往北 Snohomish County 的人來說, 沒有理由花時間往南到車站, 然後又往北的方式. 直接在市中心搭公車反而方便許多.
