大西雅圖地區終於會有輕鐵系統…

除了在 Pierce County 以些微的百分比險勝中, 在 King 和 Snohomish Counties 都贏得順利中. 因此在 2023 年, 將會有南至 North Federal Way, 北至 Lynnwood, 東至 Redmond 的輕鐵系統. 更多資訊可至 Sound Transit 網站. 另外 Initiative Measure 985 concerns transportation (非尖峰時刻讓單人車輛行駛 HOV)是失敗中, Initiative Measure 1000 concerns allowing certain terminally ill competent adults to obtain lethal prescriptions (安樂死)是過關中, Initiative Measure 1029 concerns long-term care services for the elderly and persons with disabilities (安養人員需要領有執照)是過關中. 最後西雅圖市 Proposition No. 1 – Pike Place Market Levy (整修 Pike Place Market)是過關中, Proposition No. 2 – Parks Levy (增加和整修西雅圖市的公園)也是過關中. 由此看來, 明年的稅率將會上漲. RTA (Regional Transit Tax) 將會讓西雅圖市的營業稅從現在的 9.0% 上漲至 9.5%. 另外 Pike Place Market Levy 和 Parks Levy 也會讓西雅圖市的房屋稅上漲一些.
