Astoria 也許受到電影 (Goonies, Kindergarten Cop, Free Willy) 的影響, 一直是我喜愛的城市之一. 這也是我和老婆第二次的拜訪. 不過距上次已經是十幾年前的事. 基本上整個市區沒有太大的變化, 反倒是城郊的變化滿大的 路徑點 71, 73, 75, 和 90 是 Astoria Column. 路徑點 159 則是 Peter Iredale 於 1906 年擱淺後留下的殘骸. 如果沒有看到路線圖, 請直接點選 permalink.
Trip Day 1
路徑點 150: 這張是隨便照的. 只因為車子暫時的停在這裡幫小朋友換尿布. 路徑點 195: 這張也是隨便在 Costco 外面照的…用來測試了吧! Fort Stevens State Park 是 Oregon 最大的露營地. 夏季的週末隨時有超過千人同時在這裡露營. 露營地隱私 C 至 J Loop 好過 L 至 O Loop. 我們的營地在 O Loop, 和鄰居營地的帳篷只要伸出手就可以碰到. 如果不想露營, 這裡也有 Yurt 可出租. 如果沒有看到路線圖, 請直接點選 permalink.

Air Force Thunderbirds
隔了十七年, 終於再次的和 Thunderbirds (美國空軍雷鳥小組)相會. 上一次的相會是在 McConnell 空軍基地. 那時對於第一次看飛行表演非常的興奮. 雖然在 2002 年曾在 Whidbey Island 海軍航空基地看見了她們. 但是那天的天氣並不好, 所以飛行表演取消了. 這一次是在 McChord 空軍基地, 不過多了囉嗦的傢伙. 一會兒嫌太吵, 一會兒又嫌太熱. 已經沒有那種興奮的心情了… [img=images/20080720_Thurderbirds_01.jpg popup=false] [img=images/20080720_Thurderbirds_02.jpg popup=false]
