Boeing 737

Boeing 737 和 757 的機身多數是在 Wichita, Kansas 的 Wichita Boeing 工廠組裝, 再用火車送過來到 Renton Boeing 做最後的組合和塗裝. 想當初來這裡第一年就是住在離 Wichita Boeing 不遠的地方. 這幾年下來, 還是住在離 Boeing 不遠的地方. 一點也沒有逃出 Boeing 的範圍. 網路上常常有人問到西雅圖和 Nirvana 樂團和其成員 Kurt Cobain 的問題. 我一直覺得很納悶? 我知道 Kurt Cobain 是來自於華盛頓州西南方的 Aberdeen, 也知道他們是在西雅圖成名和發展出來. 只是我是在約四個星期前才知道, 原來 Kurt Cobain 也是在西雅圖身亡的. 12 年前的今天(不過他的屍體是在三天後才被人發現), Kurt Cobain 自殺身亡. 位於他當初自殺旁的公園 Viretta Park 變成是所有 Nirvana 和 Kurt Cobain 樂迷們紀念和憑弔他的地方. 不過我和他們的樂風實在沒有什麼交集. 華航也要增加台北和西雅圖間的班機
台北和西雅圖間的班機(沒有再延伸至紐約紐渥克 Newark).
華航於四月二十五日起也將增加台北和西雅圖間的班機. 增加後, 每週的五班台北和西雅圖間的班機, 有其中三班繼續延伸至德州的休士頓 Houston. 另外兩班則只到西雅圖, 之後便折返台北.

“此外，為了因應西雅圖客運市場需求暢旺，華航自4月26日起增飛CI022/021台北-西雅圖往返航線每週兩班，使用A340-300型客機，去程 CI022班次每週一、三23:00自中正機場起飛，當天19:10抵達西雅圖。回程CI021班次每週二、四01:20自西雅圖起飛，次日05:30飛抵中正機場。屆時華航往返西雅圖客運航班，增為每週5班，其中3班延伸至休士頓。”
